Back from commercial, the Ass Boys make their entrance and get on the mic.

They complain about the Acclaimed embarrassing them last week and claim that they made the Acclaimed and that will be the last time they’re ever embarrassed.

Enter the Acclaimed, much to the Gunns’ consternation.

Billy Gunn tries to get his sons in line, they run off and he gets on the mic. He says he’s sick and tired of them whining, and he tells his adopted sons that they’re the tag team champions and they need to start acting like it, and they’re gonna sit down and hash it out next week.

He has two words for them: family therapy.

Renee Paquette interviews “Hangman” Adam Page.

He says physically he feels fine but Jon Moxley took something from him in their first match and he feels like this win at least gives him his word back. She says Jon told her that Page pushes him to be a better version of himself and he loves and despises him for it.

Hangman says if Moxley has anything to say to him, he can say it to his face. He says he’s got fences that need mending but he doesn’t want to be overly specific about it.

Jake Hager vs. “Absolute” Ricky Starks

Chris Jericho is on commentary for this one.

Collar and elbow, Hager drives him into the corner, body blows, Starks steals the hat and grabs a knucklelock, walking the ropes, Jake pulls him down into a slam but Ricky floats out and throws him to the floor! He says he’s asked for match against Starks and Action Andretti next week, with Sammy Guevara as his partner. Daniel Garcia speaks up and says he wants to be his partner and Sammy tells him he can have the spot if he beats Andretti on Rampage, and he got him new pleather pants for gear.

Post-match, Maxwell Jacob Friedman appears on the tron to cut a promo.

He says he hears everything Danielson and the fans say about him not deserving his spot in the company but people seem to have forgotten who he is and how he became world champion, and he takes that personally. Fickle is an understatement, and Bryan doesn’t understand that he’s only been dealing with masked Max.

Masked Max likes to keep things like and have fun, but the closer we get to Revolution, the more the mask will slip, and nobody wants that. He may think he’s a dragon, but a dragon is no match for the monster behind the mask.

We get a promo video package from Toni Storm, Saraya, and Hikaru Shida, wherein Toni talks about how she’s winning tonight and Saraya warns Shida to stay in the back.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, we’re informed that Bryan Danielson’s opponent next week is Brian Cage.

Prince Nana and Cage are interviewed about it when MJF rolls up to chat. He pulls a big envelope of money out and says it’s theirs, win or lose, if they break Danielson’s arm. Brian says he can probably work that out, Friedman slaps him, Cage grabs him by the neck and Nana talks him down.

Max says that feeling is hate and there’s no greater motivator, so he should use it next week.

Post-match, Saraya blindsides Willow and she and Toni put boots to her! Shida gets up on the apron in shock as Ruby Soho makes the save!

Commentary hypes up the next week of shows.

Stokely Hathaway and Ethan Page cut a promo on Jungle Boy and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Konosuke Takeshita is interviewed.

He says he loved wrestling Bryan Danielson because he’s his hero and he learned so much, and he talks about how he doesn’t trust MJF and says a bunch of things in Japanese that he says add up to “MJF is an asshole.”

Darby Allin (c) vs. KUSHIDA (AEW TNT Championship)

Up on the apron, trading strikes, Allin with the standing Diamond Dust! Both men down and out on the floor, Darby grabs a chair and opens it on the floor, sitting KUSHIDA in it! Trading forearms, Allin lights him up, up top… KUSHIDA CATCHES HIM OUT OF HIS DIVE AND RIGHT INTO A CROSS ARMBAR!
